The location was perfect, close to public transport, and the atmosphere was lively with a pool area that provided a great place to relax. I liked everything about my stay. The cleanliness impressed me, and all the equipment felt new and well maintained. Big lockers held my backpack easily, and I borrowed a lock from the hotel. The swimming pool area looked inviting, though I couldn’t enjoy it because of the cold weather. Jonathan at the front desk was so professional and friendly, making our chat enjoyable. Breakfast was included, and it was decent. The hotel is close to the highway, making it easy to grab an Uber or Lyft. Cavalcade train station, just 600m away, made transportation to downtown Houston a breeze, only taking about 15 minutes. No complaints here!

The pool area offers a relaxed vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Facilities are modern with impressive breakfast options that include yogurt and oatmeal, ensuring a decent start to the day.
The dorms feel quite cramped, making it a challenge to move around freely. Those plastic privacy screens are a hassle. you'd be better off with curtains for easier access to the beds. Lighting lacks sufficient brightness, as there are only a few small reading lamps on the bunks, leaving much of the room dim. On top of that, accessing power outlets from the top bunks isn’t very convenient. Given the overall setup, it feels more like a temporary stop than a welcoming stay.
